Camila Oliveira Fairclough (b. 1979, Rio de Janeiro) is an artist and curator living and working in Paris. Her practice explores the intersections of abstraction, language, popular culture, and visual poetry. Drawing from geometric abstraction, Pop Art, conceptual art, and the tradition of Brazilian concrete poetry, she transforms words, symbols, and everyday signs into compositions that oscillate between image and text. She has presented solo exhibitions at Ellen de Bruijne Projects, Amsterdam; Galerie Florence Loewy, Paris; Papai Contemporary, Oslo; Galerie Laurent Godin, Paris; and Luis Adelantado, Valencia, among others. Her work has been exhibited at Centre Pompidou and Centre Pompidou-Metz, MuCEM, Marseille, Mudam Luxembourg, MRAC Occitanie, and MABA, and is held in major public collections such as Centre Pompidou, CNAP, MRAC Occitanie, Les Abattoirs, Toulouse, and several FRAC collections across France.
