Laila Majid (b. 1996) lives and works in London. She graduated from her MA at the Slade School of Fine Art in 2021, and additionally completed an MSt in Film Aesthetics at the University of Oxford. She has recently exhibited at Niru Ratnam Gallery, London; Fotografiska, Berlin; Independent Art Fair, New York; Rose Easton, London; and South London Gallery, London. Awards include Bloomberg New Contemporaries (2021), and CIRCA x Dazed Class of 2022, for her moving image work south florida sky (in collaboration with Louis Blue Newby).
